Resources for Press—PSA Campaigns

Since 2010, The U.S. Department of the Treasury, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and the Ad Council have collaborated to release a series of four public service advertisements (PSA) in English and Spanish to boost awareness of the mortgage help available through Making Home Affordable.

The latest phase of the campaign—"This is Why"—launched in September 2014 and aims to reach struggling homeowners who may still be current on payments, but are, as a result of some hardship, juggling expenses to make ends meet. The PSAs encourage homeowners to seek free help through Making Home Affordable and to take action early by calling 888-995-HOPE (4673).
