The U.S. Department of the Treasury, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the Ad Council have launched a new series of public service advertisements (PSAs) as part of our Foreclosure Prevention Campaign. This latest phase of the campaign -- themed "This is Why" -- aims to reach struggling homeowners who may be current on payments, but are, as a result of some hardship, juggling expenses to make ends meet. The PSAs encourage homeowners to seek free help through the Making Home Affordable Program and to take action early by calling 888-995-HOPE (4673). As with all campaigns, all the ad space is donated.
